I helped a friend of mine to pitch a game in 2016.
I was involved in the prototype and the final polishing stage.
These are the initial environment design I did during prototype stage for the pitching session.
Was trying to figure out the style and look of the game, along with visual storytelling.
It was quite fun to work on these after work because the work in office are more towards realistic style.
The Idea was to design it in layers so the depth will be emphasized in the 2D space. I was heavily inspired by the game INSIDE during the prototype development stage, I'm not too sure if my friend still keeping the dark plot twist we discussed about during story development stage.
