Games and movies were the reason I joined the concept art industry. Every careful attention and thought put into games and movie production always inspired me to create better designs!
Currently Leading a team of 22 concept artists working on multiple triple-A projects.
System creation, conflict management, task delegation, team building, and communicating with clients are now the main priority in my day-to-day task.
As much as I enjoy creating art, building a sustainable and fun yet challenging environment for my team has been fulfilling for me.
I'm also a guest lecturer teaching Design Process principles to students in The One Academy. Teaching has been one of my passion and the ability to give back to the community and bring my students into the industry has been another fulfilling journey as well.
Lastly, I also run a small company that does freelancing for concept art. This is a platform to share the tasks with more upcoming artists and give them the opportunity to grow not just in skills but also financially.
Leading the whole concept team with multiple projects from different clients like Blizzard, Playground Games, Naughtydog, and more while supporting production for GIGABASH.
At the same time, help create systems, task delegations, conflict management, and career development, to guide the team toward a common goal.
- Supporting GigaBash in it's production phase, at the same time doing R&D for skillsets/software that is potential for upcoming projects or for the department.
Involved in Game titles like Injustice 2, Uncharted 4, Uncharted 4: Lost Legacy, The Last of Us Part 2. Mainly working on environment concept art and a bit of character designs.
Then move on to help develop company In-house production name OPUS and then GigaBash.
In Opus I was in charge of producing all the key visuals for the short film, ranging from characters, props, environment, color script, and VFX concept design.
For Gigabash I was mainly involved in the environment side ranging from concept art, UI/UX, VFX, level design and marketing art too.
Worked on Tabletop game illustration, movie pitch concept art, unreleased Game concept art, Anime movie spaceship design, multiple commercial storyboards, NetEase in-house project and Racing Master.
Currently working with Tencent and Bytedance as freelancer.
